Behind the Build: Designing a Stable Foundation

Here we are, guys, back at another new build that we started this year. 2nd one that we’ve got out at the cliffs of Lake Belton. And what we’re doing out here today is we’re staking out a lot. When this client first came to us with their plan, we realized they weren’t really taking the full advantage of the view of the lake, which is the whole reason that you would buy a lot like this.
So we’ve helped them redraw their plan, redesign their plan. to take the best advantage of what views like they have here. So we’ve staked it out. Robbie, tell us a bit.
Why do we come out here and do what we’re doing today?

Yeah Bobbie to your point. We come out here, we take it, we take the plan into consideration and try to place it on the lot, so that we’ve got the best advantage to view the water.
Um, take it also into consideration, you know, things like these rock our croppings that are here that are natural, uh, they’re beautiful and can be designed in the landscape, uh, factors as well. So we take all those things into consideration. Also, I have to think of things like septic design and making sure that you’ve got enough area for your separate field will be put in.
But yeah, that’s what we’re doing as we’re stacking this house out. So this client can come out here and visualize what we put on the ground to see that we’ve got the best placements for what they’re trying to visualize in their in their backyard. It’s going to be an amazing house, amazing view of the lake.
Probably gonna be about 10 foot, 12 foot out of ground. Then the pool is looking out over the lake. So it’s going to be a great project.
Hope you guys will follow us along as we start forming up the foundation and walking you through this whole project. Look forward to having you guys with us.
